The Pharmacy Board of Australia will take over from all state and territory Pharmacy Boards around Australia from 1 July 2010. Their website is www.pharmacyboard.gov.au - Note that on their website, there are a range of important changes for intern pharmacist including changes to supervised practice, registration examinations and English language requirements that will affect anyone seeking final registration as a pharmacist after 1 July 2010.

All intern pharmacists conducting or commencing supervised practice in NSW must register with the Pharmacy Board prior to the commencement of supervised practice.
Those already holding current registration as interns with the Pharmacy Board of NSW will automatically be become interns under the Pharmacy Board of Australia at 1 July 2010. Intern will also need to enrol and complete the NSW Intern Training Program as part of their supervised practice. This program is run by the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia.
